The Pontoon
Our Vision
It is envisaged that the pontoons will be connected to the quay structure by an access gangway which will allow for a walk-on walk-off safe access for all boat users. The security of boats and equipment will also be enhanced by installing both a security gate and CCTV coverage.
The Plan
The pontoon will be positioned approximately 15-20m North of the main quay. The pontoon will be accessed via a 21m gated gangway, which will include wheelchair accessibility.
The dimensions of the pontoon itself are 63x3m, which will provide berth space for approximately 15-20 boats.
All aspects of the construction of the pontoon will be to the highest industry standards.
